Mrs. Anna Elise Sixel, 80, of Rt. 1, Cleveland, was found dead in bed Thursday morning at the farm home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Sixel, in the Town of Meeme. Her death was attributed to a heart attack.
A daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Bohne Fiedler, she was born Jan. 11, 1880, in the Town of Meeme, and was married Feb. 21, 1903, to Peter Sixel at St. James Evangelical and Reformed Church at Spring Valley.
The couple was engaged in farming in the Town of Meeme their entire married life. Mr. Sixel died Aug. 14, 1945.
Mrs. Sixel was a member of St. James Evangelical and Reformed Church at Spring Valley and was a charter member of its Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors are three sons, Herbert and Gilbert of R. 1, Cleveland, and Arthur of R. 1, Newton; one daughter, Mrs. Ervin (Aurelia) Truttschel of Mosel; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Fiedler of Sheboygan Falls, and William of the Town of Centerville, and four sisters, Mrs. Mathilda Born, Mrs. Richard Lutze and Mrs. Mary Born, Cleveland, and Mrs. John Roethel of Sheboygan Falls.
Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. James Church, Spring Valley, with the Rev. Merlin Huebschman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
