NEWBURG -- Frank A. Hepler, 82, of RD1 Newburg, died Thursday at the home of his son, Frank S., of Newburg RD.
He was a retired farmer and carpenter.He was a member of the Newburg United Methodist Church; the Men's Bible Class; Newburg IOOF Valley Encampment; the Cumberland County Past Grand Association, and a director of the Valley Mutual Insurance Co.He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen Kent and Mrs. Joanna Rupert, and two sons, Frank S. and William G., all of Shippensburg; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Brenize, Orrstown; and Mrs. John Fogelsanger and Mrs. Vesta Swartz, both of Shippensburg; four brothers, Luke B. and Ralph P, both of Shippensburg; Fred L., Newburg; and G. Wayne, Gettysburg; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Newburg United Methodist Church with the Revs. Michael Gardy and William H. Summerhill officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Newburg.Friends may call at the Barbour Funeral Home at 142 E.
