A funeral Mass for George J. Heimann, 90, of Route 4, Chilton, who died June 3, at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, was offered at St. Martin Catholic Church, Charlestown. The Rev. William Eberhardy, pastor was celebrant. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Heimann was born April 23, 1890, in Charlestown, son of Constantine and Elizabeth Schnell Heimann. On July 9, 1918 he married Agatha Meyer at St. Nazianz. He farmed in the town of Charlestown until his retirement in 1960. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church, Charlestown, the Holy Name Society, Catholic Knights Charlestown Branch 194 and was a 60-years member of the church choir.
Survivors are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Arlin (Marie) Ludwig of Albuquerque, N.M.; Mrs. Ervin (Leona) Daun of Chilton, Mrs. Sylvester (Juliana) Weber of New Holstein and Mrs. Richard (Isabell) Schneider of Cary, Ill.; three sons, Sylvester of Milwaukee, Albert of Route 4, Chilton, and Wilfred of Kiel; a brother, Msgr. Francis Heimann of Algoma; 34 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, seven sisters and six brothers.

(April 23, 1890-June 3, 1980 –husband of Agatha Meyer [married July 9, 1918 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton] –son of Constant Heimann [1842-1936] and Elizabeth Schnell [1848-1924] –born in Town of Charlestown –on April 3, 1915, George purchased from Thomas Baker the 41.21-acre farm at N3555 County T in Section 21, Town of Charlestown –on April 25, 1916, George purchased an additional 22 acres in the NE1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 21 from his parents –on July 15, 1924, George purchased 12.28 acres from Louis Lindsey in the NE1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 21 –on Aug. 16, 1927, George purchased from Louis Lindsey an additional 2.13 acres with house and sawmill along Highway 151 in Hayton –soon after this purchase, the house on this lot was razed –on Sept. 13, 1944, George purchased the 35.16 acres in the SW1/4 of Section 21, Town of Charlestown that were east of Pine Creek –all of these purchases became part of his farm centered at N3555 County T –on May 20, 1971, George sold this now 140-acre farm to his son Albert Heimann –on May 4, 1960, George purchased the lot with house at N3309 Church Road in Section 21, Town of Charlestown –George lived here until his death in 1980 –died from "hemorrhage, 2 days –arteriosclerotic heart disease and chronic heart failure, 1 month –generalized early gangrene of toes, one month") –buried at St. Martin Catholic Cemetery, Town of Charlestown [marriage record Manitowoc 15-113] [death record Calumet 23-311]
