She was born Jan. 3, 1896 in St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Michael and Theresa (Knier) Meyer. She married George J. Heimann on July 9, 1918 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1980.
She had farmed with her husband in the Town of Charlestown until 1960. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church in Charlestown, the Christian Mothers, the Daughters of lsabelle, and the Catholic Knights Charlestown Branch 194.
Survivors include five children, Marie Ludwig of New Holstein, Albert Heimann of Chilton; Juliana (Sylvester) Weber of New Holstein, Wilfred (Gertrude) Heimann of Kiel, Isabell (Richard) Schneider of Cary, IL; 36 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, 29 great-great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Leona Daun; a son, Sylvester Heimann; two grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, three sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thurs., April 30, 1998 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Charlestown with the Rev. Fred Peters S.D.S., officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in the name of Agatha Heimann. Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton is assisting the family.
