OLD BILOXI RESIDENT DEAD
After suffering a number of months all that was mortal of Edward Richards, ages 79 years, a native of Loraine, Harrison county, Miss., passed to the great beyond last night at 9:15 o'clock. Deceased has resided in Biloxi for fifty-five years during which he has seen the city grow from a mere villlage to its present size. He is survived by two brothers and a sister and one son, Arthur Richards, a resident of Biloxi. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the late residence, 515 Chartres Street. Service will be conducted under the auspices of the Church of the Redeemer and interment will be made in the Biloxi cemetery.
