Vivian A. Baker (nee Greuel) age 95 of West Bend died peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Waterford in West Bend. She was born August 19, 1921 in St. Cloud, WI to Alvin and Irene (nee Voelker) Greuel.
On February 26, 1944 she was united in marriage to Harvey E. Baker in California. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2003.
Following their marriage, Vivian and Harvey lived in West Allis before settling in West Bend in 1947. She enjoyed camping and spending time at Crooked Lake. In 1996 they moved to Wild Rose before returning to West Bend in the summer of 2002. She embraced her role as homemaker by taking care of Harvey, cooking, canning and spending as much time with her family as possible.
Vivian is survived by her 3 daughters: Sandra Washick of Kewaskum, Kay (Terry) Michels of West Bend and Mary (David) Solheim of Campbellsport, 5 grandchildren: Sara (Roman) Martinez, Chris Michels, April (Jason) Immel, Amanda (John) Werner and Keaton Baker and 7 great-grandchildren: Andrew, Isabela, Estevan, Austin, Autumn, Cooper and Mikey. She is further survived by her 3 siblings: Glenroy (Theresa) Greuel, Oliver (Rita) Greuel and Joanne Riesterer, her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Greuel and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Vivian A. (Gruiel) Baker married Harvey Baker on Feb. 26, 1944 at Camp Stoneman, California in the army chapel.
