DEATH SADDENS HOME OF MR. AND MRS. P. THIELEN
Death saddened the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter G. Thielen, 1118 South Twelfth street, last night when it entered to claim the life of their daughter, Katherine, aged 15 years. The end came suddenly and calmly after a day during which hope of recovery had been raised by the apparent improvement in the condition of the patient who had been ill for some time. Death was due to affection of the heart resulting from illness from which she suffered.
Deceased was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thielen. She was born July 10, 1908, and had just completed the eighth grade in the public school and was to have entered high school this fall. Since the close of school she had suffered a decline in health and for several weeks was a patient at the hospital. Her condition for several days had been serious.
Besides her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Eugene, Lester and George, and one sister, Marie.
Funeral services will be held at St. Boniface church Saturday morning with burial at Calvary.
Mr. Thielen, who was at Minneapolis, was called home by a telegram Wednesday and arrived in time to see his daughter.
The sympathy of friends will be extended to Mr. and Mrs. Thielen.
