JOSEPH BUDNIK DIES SUDDENLY
Former Local Man Collapses In Milwaukee Store


Joseph F. Budnik, 48, former Manitowoc resident who moved to Milwaukee several years ago, died suddenly late Saturday night of heart attack. The body is to be brought to this city for burial.

Taken Suddenly Ill
Mr. Budnik, a steamfitter by trade, was taken suddenly ill and collapsed in a drug store on South 13th street in Milwaukee, a few blocks from his home. He was pronounced dead when removed to a hospital in an ambulance. His home was at 3270 South Ninth street, Milwaukee.

The deceased was born in this city, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Budnik Sr., now deceased. He was educated in schools here and learned the steamfitters' trade. He moved to Milwaukee to be employed and was a member of the Milwaukee union. He was married in that city.

Survivors are his widow, Pearl; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Kuchera, Mrs. August Klessig, Mrs. Frank Jagodensky, all of this city; five brothers, Michael, Paul, Jacob and John, all of this city, and Felix, U.S. navy.

Funeral Wednesday
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the St. Helen's Catholic church, Milwaukee. The body will be brought to Manitowoc. Interment will be in the Calvary cemetery here.
