EDINA, Mo. — Services for Mrs. Josephine Gibbons, 81, of Edina, who died Tuesday (July 23, 1974) at 9:40 a. m. in St. Mary Hospital in Quincy, will be held Thursday at 10 a. m. in St, Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Duggan will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mrs. Gibbons was born in Knox County Jan. 2, 1893, a daughter of Charles and Anna Kroner Weber. She and her husband farmed near Edina until retiring. She married Patrick H. Gibbons in 1915 in Edina. He died in 1959.
Surviving are four sons, Francis of Keokuk, Iowa, Paul of Denver, Colo., Charles and Pat, both of Edina; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lindsey of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Mrs. Ella Mae Fisher of Knox City; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Snelling, Mrs. Mary Teneycke, Mrs. Ella Berrier and Mrs. Agnes Thralls, all of Edina; 29 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, son, brother and three sisters.
