Mrs. James P. Pfeifer Died In California; Was Former Miss Rose Ann Gibbons

—Mrs. James P. Pfeifer, a daughter of Mrs. P. H. Gibbons of Edina and the late Mr. Gibbons, died April 23, 1964, at her home at 11217 Cypress Street, in Orange, Calif. She was 39 years old and before her marriage was Miss Rose Ann Gibbons of Edina.
—Funeral services were at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning, April 27, at the Holy Family Church and burial was in the Holy Sepulcher Cemetery at Orange.
—Also surviving are her husband, two sons, Michael J. and Danny Joe, and three daughters, Patricia Ann, Judith Lynn and Mary Ann, of the home; two sisters, Mary, Mrs. Guy Lindsey, of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Ella Mae, Mrs. Henry "Hank" Fisher, of near Knox City; four brothers, Francis Gibbons of Canton, Paul Gibbons of Santa Ana, Calif., Charles Gibbons of Anaheim, Calif., and Pat Gibbons, Jr., of near Edina, and several nieces and nephews.
—She was born May 15, 1924, in Knox County, a daughter and one of eight children of Patrick H. and Josephine Weber Gibbons. She graduated in 1942 from the St. Joseph High School here and also attended the Northeast Missouri State Teachers College at Kirksville. She was married Oct. 30, 1948, to Mr. Pfeifer at Bell Gardens, Calif., and both were employed at Los Angeles at the time of their wedding.
—Mrs. Pfeifer was preceded in death by her father, March 5, 1959, and by a brother, James Gibbons, who preceded his father in death.
