Agnes M. Gordon Ploor, age 89, a resident of Wisteria Haus, formerly of 2328 44th St., Two Rivers, died peacefully, Wednesday afternoon, August 21, 2013, at Wisteria Haus.

Agnes was the oldest of six children {two daughters & four sons} born to August L. & Mary Josephine (Renier) DeBauche. She was a graduate of Saint Luke Catholic Grade School & Two Rivers Washington High School.

On 15 April 1944, Agnes first married Donald X. Gordon in Greenleaf, KY. He preceded her in death on 24 July 1969 (at age 45) and was interred in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donald shares this grave plot with Agnes.

On 17 February 1973, Agnes second married Fred J. Ploor at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on 30 October 1991. Fred was buried next to his first wife, Ursula (1929-1972); plot B-8-2 at Holy Cross.

"Agnes was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Two Rivers Senior Center, Saint Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish, & former member of the Ladies of Saint Peter the Fisherman. Agnes loved knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting and going to their cottage in Little Sturgeon. She also enjoyed playing her Hammond Organ.

"Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Ron and Alice Gordon and Tom and Sandy Gordon, all of Two Rivers; one daughter and son-in-law: Mary and William VanLeishout, Two Rivers; nine grandchildren: Mark Gordon and special friend, Becky, Scott (Josephine) Gordon, Tina (Dean) Downing, Tammy (Tom) Lawler, James Gordon, Brenda (Jeff) Gordon, Greg (Becky) Gordon, William VanLeishout Jr., and Michael (Chrissy) VanLeishout; thirteen great grandchildren: Dylan, Austin, Taylor, Nevin, Asalea Gordon; Ian & Ireland Lawler; Owen Downing; Justin, Zachary, Cassidy and Amber Gordon; and William VanLeishout III.

"She is further survived by two brothers: Harold (Vicky) DeBauche, and Alfred (Christine) DeBauche, all of Two Rivers; a sister: Bernice (Glenn) Schultz, Two Rivers; two sisters-in-law: Jean DeBauche and Winifred DeBauche, both of Two Rivers; a step daughter-in-law, Caroline Ploor, Two Rivers; step grandson, William (Kathy) Ploor; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

"In addition to her parents, her first husband, Donald Gordon and her second husband, Fred Ploor, she was also preceded in death by two sons: Steven Gordon and Charles "Chucky" Gordon; two brothers: Russell DeBauche and Phillip DeBauche; one sister, Beatrice (Fritz) Nies; step son: Wayne (Butch) Ploor and a step granddaughter: Nada Greenley."
