She was raised and educated in Peabody. Resided in Lynn for 25 years, and for the past two and a half years, with her daughter Sharon in Gloucester.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sharon Ivey of Gloucester; her grandchildren, Alisha Malo and her husband, Darren Hart, and Brianna Ivey all of Gloucester; her 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Prescott of Middleton; a daughter-in-law, Elisa Hockenhull of Lynn; and many nieces and nephews.
