"Horace 'Pete' Shellhart, 85, of 1034 N. Hathaway St., died Wednesday in Pulaski Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two daughters, Gloria Staples of Elkhart; and Judy Stankus of Winamac; five sons, Bill and Jim, both of Star City; John of North Judson; Pat of Royal Center; and Peter of Winamac; and a sister, Lucy Doty of Winamac. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at Frain Mortuary.
