My mother and her siblings all spelled the name Shelhart S-h-e-l-l-h-a-r-t, with two L's. My grandfather spelled his name with two L's. I'm not sure why it has been posted in Find A Grave with only one L, although I do know of another branch of the tree that uses only one. In the interest of helping people find their way to my own Shellhart line, I have resigned to use only one L.
