Joe Wheeler Young, 69, of Baton Rouge, La., died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, in Baton Rouge. He was born Nov. 10, 1936, in Athens. He was a retired automobile salesman and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Pack Young of Baton Rouge; a son, Stanley Young of Baton Rouge; a daughter, Lisa Moore and her husband Dennis, of Denham Springs, La.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Young, Gary Cooley, Jimmy Nash, Derwin Routh, Ricky Allen and Darryl Cooley.
