Houston G. Young, 75, Athens, died Saturday at his residence.
The funeral was Monday at Spry Funeral Home with Gary Kelsey officiating. Burial was in Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Young was retired from General Motors Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Young; two sons, Larry Young of Pontiac, Mich., and Jimmy Fisk of Waterford, Mich.; two daughters, Betty Smith of Decatur and Martha Sepulvado of Texas; his stepmother, Myrtle Young of Athens; three sisters, Aline Holt of Athens, Sue Dye of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Roberta Gray of Birmingham; a brother, Joe Wheeler Young of Louisiana; a stepbrother, Hoyt McCowan of Florida; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
