Rose Marie Groth, 76, of Jackson Twp. passed away at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold Twp.
Mrs. Groth was born in Drifton, Pa. and resided in Aberdeen before settling in Jackson Twp. five years ago. Mrs. Groth worked for the Aberdeen Board of Education as the cafeteria manager at the Lloyd Road School for many years. Mrs. Groth was a former communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport.
Mrs. Groth was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rosalie Hess and by her husband Robert W. Groth in 2000. She is survived by her two daughters, (private); her brothers, Edward Hess of Hazleton and (private) of Freeland, Pa. and several grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 7 to 9pm Monday at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd. Jackson Twp. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Her Funeral Ceremony will follow at 9am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Broadway, Keyport.
