Mrs. Anna Belle Riggs, 79, died unexpectedly at her home at 805½ N. Woodlawn, at 8:45 p.m. last night.

Her son, Rev. Elmer D. Riggs of Bedford, will conduct funeral services Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Free Methodist Church here. He will be assisted by Rev. E. E. Wright. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Greene and Harrell Chapel from Friday morning until the time of the services.

Mrs. Riggs is survived by her husband, John J. Riggs, three sons, Rev. Elmer D. Riggs, Bedford; Rev. John E. Riggs, San Diego, California; and Harold Riggs, Bloomington; three daughters, Mrs. Oris Taylor and Mrs. Sadie Funkhouser, both of Route Six; and Mrs. Jessie Beeler of Bluffton; thirty-three grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Ben Davis of Ohio; and a half-sister, Mrs. Frank Riggs of Ellettsville.

She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.

Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Anna Belle Riggs have been announced. Mrs. Riggs, 79, died Tuesday night at her home at 805½ North Woodlawn.

Her son, Rev. Elmer D. Riggs, Bedford, and Rev. E. E. Wright will conduct the services Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers chosen are Pearce Archer Riggs, John Ferguson, Kenneth Taylor, Donald Funkhouser, David Beeler, and Dale Taylor.

Beverly Riggs, Joanne Riggs, Yvonne Riggs, Deidra Riggs, Janet Sue Riggs and Mary Belle Ferguson will be flowerbearers.

The body will lie in state at Greene and Harrell Mortuary until the time of services.
