Eady Belle Autrey was Born in 1905; and the fourth child born to James Cain and Elender Autrey. Not much is known about her childhood, we do know it was spent in the turbulence of her parents on and off marriage. Eady Belle left home at the age of 15, traveling to Bearden Arkansas where her uncle Robert (Bob) Autrey lived and farmed.
This is when she meet Jack Simpson.

Eady Belle and Jack marry in 1921 when she was 16 years of age. They settled on a farm near Bearden. Over the course of their 46-year marriage, Eady Belle gives birth to nine children; Jack Jr., Monroe, Ray, Marie, Louise, Dick, Carol Ann, Shirley and Bill.
Even with the hardships of farming, Eady Belle loved the country life and raising her children. She was a delightful, hard working, down home woman.

Jack and Eady Belle lived most of their lives on the farm. Jack died of Colon Cancer in Oct. 1967. In 1971 Eady Belle made a rare trip off the farm, traveling to her son Jack Jr's home in Fla., and stopped by her brother Louis D. Autrey's home in Atlanta Ga. A few weeks after returning home from her trip; her son Monroe returns home from town and found Eady Belle lying on the living room floor dead of an apparent heart attack.
