Darlene R. Marquart, 83, of St. Ignatius, Mont., formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, May 9, at Community Medical Center, Missoula, Mont., of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 23, 1930, near Council Bluffs, in a train car because her father worked for the railroad, daughter of John and Flossie Wideman Osgood. She married Clark M. Marquart on Nov. 30, 1948, in Littleton, Colo., and they later divorced.

Darlene worked at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works and Rath Packing Co. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survived by two sons, Keith (Pamela) of Tulsa, Okla., and Rick (Paulette) of St. Ignatius; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ardith Rockwood of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold and John Osgood; and two sisters, Bernice Jones and Rosezella Massina.

Memorial services to be announced, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls.
