Also survived by a daughter, Frances Marcille Page Case; son Joel Allen "Joe" Page; brothers, Raymond Newman, Bub Newman, and Lee Newman; sisters, Estelle Stone and Bessie Foster; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services were held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 5, 1970, at the Wood Mortuary; burial in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 7:00 - 9:00 PM, Saturday, July 4, 1970, at the chapel.
