He was born on July 28, 1924 in the town of Eaton, Manitowoc County, son of the late Edward Sr. and Alvina (Stahl) Neumeyer.
On June 26, 1948 he married the former Virginia Koenig at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Meeme. She preceded him in death on July 24, 2010. Jerry farmed for many years before he began his career at Brillion Iron Works, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the town of Eaton Board and was also a constable for the town of Eaton. Jerry was an avid hunter, fisherman, trapper and enjoyed golfing, bowling and traveling.
Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law: Kathy & Kevin Muellenbach, Sheboygan Falls, Sandy & John Griffin, Manitowoc, Joan & Richard Zielinski, Newton, Pauline & Nick Hall, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law: Chuck & Diana Neumeyer, Port Washington, Mark & Christine Neumeyer, Greenleaf; thirteen grandchildren: Brett (Dora Lee) Muellenbach, Keith (Ann) Muellenbach, Matthew (Shelley) Griffin, Debbie (Anders) Bartleson, Dale (Bianca) Griffin, Frank Zielinski, Lori (Josh) Lefel, Adam (Kara) Hall, Eric (Ann) Hall, Bill (Jaime) Leifheit, James (Olivia) Neumeyer, Michael Neumeyer, Jason Neumeyer; six great grandchildren: Keeara Muellenbach, Masen Griffin, Holden Leifheit, Sunny Neumeyer, Eva Bartleson, Sofie Lefel; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Bernadine (Wayne) Breckheimer, Delores Knox; one brother and sister-in-law: Norbert (Elaine) Neumeyer; three sisters-in-law: Ann Neumeyer, Agnes Neumeyer, Marilyn Neumeyer; and a brother-in-law: Al Fenlon. Many other sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
He was also preceded in death by a sister: Rosie Fenlon; five brothers: Clarence, William, Edward Jr., Alphonse and Robert Neumeyer, along with other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
