"Weyauwega - Mrs. Alvina Ernst, 84, died Thursday at the Pine Manor Rest Home in Clintonville. She had been ill four months.

"She was born Nov. 9, 1877, in the Province of Posen, Germany. She came to the U.S. at the age of 16 and settled in Weyauwega, and lived here until five years ago when she moved to Clintonville. She was married Nov. 14, 1901, to August Ernst. He died in 1952.

"Survivors: four daughters: Mrs. Albert Wohlers, Neenah, Mrs. John Thornack, New London, Mrs. Paul Thomack, Neenah, and Mrs. Anton Rasmussen, Scandanavia; five sons, Richard, Manawa, Rudolph, Appleton, Karl, Milwaukee, Edwin, Neenah, and Alfred, Bear Creek; a sister, Mrs. Amalia Reek, West Bloomfield; two bro[th]ers August Doede, Slatstone, Mich., and Richard Doede, Washington, 28 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.

"She was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, Weyauwega, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. J. C. Dahlke will officiate. Burial will be in the Little Wolf Cemetery, Manawa.

"Friends may call after 2 p.m. today here at the Harrigan Funeral Home, and from 11:30 a.m. Saturday until hour of services."
