Born in Penndel, Ann was a 70 year resident of Holland and a former six year resident of Newtown.
Ann is a former riveter with G & A Aircraft in Jenkintown during World War II. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Ann enjoyed her family and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ann was the daughter of the late Frederick Hewins and Annie Thompson and the sister of nine brothers and two sisters. She was the wife of the late John Horn Sr. and the loving mother of John and his wife, Marjorie Horn and Marie and her late husband, William. Ann was devoted grandmother of Bernie(Diane) Reese, Kimberly(Tom) Gehring and Nancy Horn; and the great grandmother of Zachary and MacKenzie Gehring and Billy and Maddie Reese. Ann also is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James and Ruthann Hewins and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the home of John and Marjorie Horn from 4:30 to 7 pm. Sunday, June 29. Her viewing will be at the Swartz/Givnish Funeral Home, 323 Washington Ave, Newtown from 10 am to noon Monday, June 30. Funeral service will follow at noon with interment in Newtown Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ann's name my be made to the local charity of your choice.
