Surving with his wife are a daughter, Mrs. John (Ellen) Dennis of Auburn, four brothers, Raymond and Roy Acker Sr., both of Kendallville. Orville Acker of Sturgis, MI., and Robert Acker of Auburn; two sisters, Mrs. Bert (Orpha) Bates of Kendallville, and Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Luke of Fort Wayne; and two granddaughters.
A brother, Ervin Acker, and two sisters Hazel Trowbride Lash and Ruth Mapes, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Mr. Acker's nephew, the Rev. James A. Mapes of Kendallville, officiating. Burial will be in South Milford Cemetery.
