Funeral services for Mrs. Aleatha Martin, 60, were held from the Hall Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Steward Eddy, of Crump, officiated and burial was made in the Billings cemetery.
Mrs. Martin was born in Burton township, Genesee county on September 28, 1890. She came to Billings township 55 years ago and resided there since. On September 28, 1910 she married Irven Martin in Flint.
Surviving are her husband; five sons, Harold of Midland; Victor of Kalamazoo, Kenneth of Beaverton, Ernest of Sanford and Richard at home; four daughters, Marion Branscom, Virginia Haney, Goldie Morris and Gladys Clark, all of Midland; three sisters, Mrs. Marian Greaves, Mrs. Florence Walter both of California, Mrs. Winifred Nabakowski of Oregon; also 19 grandchildren. Four children preceded their mother in death. Gladwin County Record dated 5-23/1951.
