David W. Haught Sr. of Wellsburg went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2014 at his home. After fighting the battle of cancer. He was born June 2, 1929 in Mannington, WV. to the late David and Helen Sturgeon Haught. He was a retired pipefitter of 38 years with Weirton Steel He was a Sgt. In the US Army in the Korean Conflict and a Christian.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded by his 1st wife Shirley Imogene Santee Haught and his 2nd wife Genevieve Pitts Haught his precious daughter Linda Sue Haught, five brothers , five sisters, 6 sister-in-laws, seven brother-in-laws, and several nieces and nephews.

He is survived by two sons David Haught (Jeanie) of Wooster, OH., and Joseph Haught (Lisa) of Wellsburg, two daughters Bonnie Young (Mike) of Point Pleasant, WV., and Crystal Rogerson (Tom) of Moundsville, WV. and one Brother Ernest Haught (Ellen) of Fairview, WV. and four sister-in-laws Mary Haught of New Castle, PA. , Iolene Santee of Fairview WV. Barbara Santee of Grant town, WV., and Judith Pitts of CA. Nine grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who love him dearly.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm. until the time of service at 7:00pm on Friday September 5, 2014 at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg and again on Saturday September 6, 2014 from 12:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV. Interment will be at Mannington Memorial Park in Mannington, WV. with full Military Rites.
