She was born May 30,1931 in Mannington,daughter of the late David Henry and Helen Jean Sturgeon Haught. She was raised in Metz. She enjoyed working crossword books, watching television and walking. She was a homemaker, and also had worked at the Union Lunch in Fairmont for many years. She is survived by one daughter and son in law Barbara E. and Richard F. Ice of Fairmont: Five brothers David Haught of Wellsburg. Charles Edward Haught,Donald Ray Haught and Ernest Haught all of New Castle Pa.,and Robert Haught of Elgin,S.C one sister, Mary Ellen Higginbotham of Rymer Community, Mannington, four grandchildren and Spouses Michael F and Betty Ice, James W.Ice and David A and Sherry Ice all of Fairmont and Scotty E and Laurie Ice of Clarksburg: seven great grandchildren Michael,Linda,Mickey,Scotty,Brian,and Brittany, all of Fairmont and Derek of Clarksburg and several nieces and newphews.
She also was preceded in death by one infant brother Earl Leroy Haught and three sisters Elizabeth Yost, Nellie June Floyd and Leona Marie Haught.
Friends was called at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington on Monday March 6,2000 from 11 am - 1 pm time of service at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Green Officiating. The casket will remain closed.
Burial will follow in Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery
