Mr. Kemble was employed as custodian at the old Ford School, the old Jefferson High School, Sunnyside Junior High School, and Tecumseh Junior High School before retirement. He was a member of East Lynn, IL, United Methodist Church, the Golden Age class at Trinity United Methodist Church, and Lafayette Travelers group.
Surviving with his widow are four daughters, Mrs. Mary Luella Oakley, Helen (Mrs. Rule) Hudelson, both of Lafayette, Louise (Mrs. Lloyd) Campbell of Vicksburg, MI, and Mrs. Elizabeth Gross of Marion, OH; a son, Aaron William "Shorty" Kemble of Newtown; a sister, Minta (Mrs. Ted) Purchla of West Lafayette; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A daughter preceded him in death.
