In 1909, she was married at Crawfordsville, to Raymond "Shorty" Kemble, who was an employee of the Lafayette School System for 42 years and preceded her in death in 1972. Mrs. Kemble was head of housekeeping at Lafayette Home Hospital for 35 years, retiring in 1967. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Lafayette Home Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are three daughters, Louise (Mrs. Lloyd) Campbell of Vicksburg, MI, Helen (Mrs. Ruel) Hudelson and Mrs. Elizabeth Gross, both of Lafayette; one son, Aaron William Kemble, also of Lafayette; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Lamb of Rockville; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
