Mildred Louise Pyles, age 91 of Licking, MO formerly of Edina, MO passed away Monday, November 17, 2014. Born February 6, 1923 in Edina, MO she was a daughter of Charles Cleveland and Maude Ellen Cheatum Raymer. On November 1, 1941 at Canton, MO she was united in marriage to Harold Virgil Pyles and he preceded her in death on July 29, 1990.

Surviving are four children: Sharon Taylor, Peggy Taylor , Michael Pyles and his wife, Mary and Richard Pyles and his wife, Vickie; nine grandchildren, Mark Schmuke, Cheryl Ballard, Brian Taylor, Jaimie Taylor, Zachary Cobb, Alexandrea Pyles, Amanda Pyles, Lindsey Pyles and Whitney Pyles; numerous great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Pyles was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Patricia Pyles and Marilyn Sue Pyles; four sisters, Margaret Jean Smith, Betty Jo Parrish, Doris Elizabeth Pruett and Dorothy Ann Wheeler and two brothers George and Charles Raymer.

Mildred was reared in Edina and was a graduate of the Edina High School. She was employed two years at the Burnham Glove Factory in Edina. She was a devoted homemaker to her family; she enjoyed sewing and making quilts. She resided in Edina until moving to Licking, MO to be closer to family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend Mike Wilson will officiate the services. Burial will be at the Steffenville Cemetery at Steffenville, MO. Visitation will be held after 12:00 noon until the time of services on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
