"Mrs. Gladys E. Allman, 39, of N.E. 100th and N. Indiana, died Monday at Research Medical Center after a long illness. She was born near Hurley, Mo., and had lived here 23 years. Mrs. Allman was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Gladstone. She leaves her husband, Bobby G. Allman of the home; two sons, Ronald G. Allman of Orlando, Fla., and Randall G. Allman of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Sheila J. Vankeirsbilck of 7912 N. Main and Miss Paulia J. Allman, Miss Bealyndia J. Allman, Miss Marlisa J. Allman and Miss Deannea J. Allman of the home; her mother, Mrs. Dollie Letts of Hurley; a brother, Junior Letts of Germany; and a half-brother, Douglas Casey of Dover, Ark.; five sisters, Mrs. Ruthie Scrivens of Kansas City, Mrs. Corine Payne of Higginsville, Mo., Mrs. Mary Lou Stafford of Harrisonville and Mrs. Dorothy Davis and Mrs. Charlene Jackson of Hurley; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Newcomer White Chapel; burial in White Chapel Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, August 10, 1976
