Resident Of Calvary Dies In Auto Accident Tuesday
Kenneth D. Halbach, 19. of Calvary (Fond du Lac County) was killed in an auto accident which occurred one mile west of his home on Highway 149 at 11:15 last night. The vehicle, in which the victim was driving alone at the time, reportedly hit a utility pole and rolled over after leaving the road.
The deceased was born on July 23, 1938, at Calvary, the son of William and Hilda Buechel Halbach. He was graduated from Fond du Lac High School In 1956 and since then had been employed at the A. F. Klinzing Manufacturing Co., in Fond du Lac.
He was a member of the Young Men's Society at Holy Cross Catholic Church at ML Calvary.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon at Lisowe Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and at 2 o'clock at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mt. Calvary. Due to Holy Week the Rev. Ephrem Hertel will read the absolution rites at the church. The requiem mass will be read at an unannounced time next week. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 o'clock Friday afternoon until time of services.
Survivors include; the parents; four brothers and one sister, (survivors names withheld per findagrave guidelines). He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
