William Halbach Sr., 74, of R. 1, Mt. Calvary, died Monday at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, following a lingering illness.
Born on May 18, 1899, at Marytown, she was a son of the late Anton and Anna Thelen Halbach. He married Hilda Buechel, at Jericho on June 8, 1920. The couple celebrated their golden anniversary in 1970 .
They resided at Calvary Station most of their lives where Mr. Halbach operated a repair shop. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary.

Two sons and a daughter preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Rev. Rupert Dorn, pastor, celebrant of Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
