Mrs. Hilda Halbach, 82, R. 1, Mount Calvary, died Thursday morning, February 3, at Americana Health Care Center, Fond du Lac, following a brief illness.
The former Hilda Buechel was born June 11, 1900 at Jericho, a daughter of the late John and Anna Heimermann Buechel. On June 8, 1920 she married William Halbach Sr., at Jericho. The couple lived in Calvary Station. Mr. Halbach died in 1974.
Mrs. Halbach was employed as a cook at St. Francis Brothers School in Calvary Station for many years. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mount Calvary and its Christian Mothers and Altar Society.
A funeral Mass was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church. The Rev. Kenneth Casper, associate pastor, was celebrant of the Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
