LEE ELLISON OF ROCKBRIDGE DIES SUDDENLY AT 61
Pittsfield--Lee R. Ellison of Rockport, employee at Brown Shoe Co. here, died suddenly late Monday morning at Illini Hospital where he had been a patient about one hour. Mr. Ellison was born at New Canton March 10, 1911, son of William and Catherine Clapp Ellison. He was married to Dora Blackledge who survives with these children: William of Corpus Christi, Texas; Roger, Ronald and Mrs. Kathleen Barnes all of Rockport; Donald of Griggsville; Douglas of Pleasant Hill; Mrs. Carol Loutzenhiser of St. Charles, MO; and Mrs. Velda Smith of Foley, MO. There are 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A brother, Willie Ellison of Pennsylvania and a sister, Mrs. Dora Constable of Jacksonville, survive. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday at Sutter Funeral Home with Rev. Joe T. Maynard officiating. Interment will be in Sam Taylor Cemetery at Rockport. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 pm Wednesday.
