He was an Air Force Veteran and retiredfrom Reynolds Metals Co.after 35 years Survivors include his wife, Gretta, of Portland TX, sons Dennis Ellison and Steven Ellison of Portland TX, son Daryl Ellison of Corpus Christi TX, and daughters Karen Ballard of Portland TX and Debbie Daniels of Griggsville IL, his mother Dora Ellison of Rockport IL, two sisters Velda Barnes of Rockport IL and Carol Rice of St. Charles MO, three brothers Donnie Ellison and Roger Ellison of Rockport IL and Ronnie Ellison of Hull IL.,11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Burial was held 10 a.m. June 16 in San Patricio Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
