Marion T. Holschbach, age 76, of 7915 County Trunk B., Two Rivers, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, at her residence, after a six-year courageous battle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot, with the Rev. Paul Paider officiating, with burial to follow in the Knollwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Highway 310, Manitowoc. Marion was born Nov. 1, 1929, at Silver Lake, to the late Anton and Mary Zipperer Kleiber, and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1947. She married Andrew Holschbach on June 25, 1949, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alverno. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in Francis Creek for many years. Marion had a true love for farming, especially the cattle. After their retirement she missed the daily activities of the farm. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church of Mishicot. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and games with her family, especially with her grandchildren. Marion was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family, and is survived by her husband: Andrew; her eight children, 26 grandchildren and one great grandson: James and Barb Holschbach, Whitelaw and their children, Aaron and his fiancee, Rachel; Angela, Sarah and her fiance Sam; Gary and Debbie Holschbach, Whitelaw, and their children Eric and Jenni; Donna and Tom Eiles, Kellnersville, and their children Lisa (Jason) Podgorski, and their son, Marion's great grandson: Andrew; Jeffrey and his fiancee Sarah; and Steven; Steve "Bugsy" and Sue Holschbach, Francis Creek, and their children, Shanna, Karissa, Megan and Luke; Roger and Sheri Holschbach, Baline, Minn.; and their children, Katie, Ben, Kelsey, and Brian; Andy and Theresa Holschbach, Plymouth and their children, Samantha, Matthew, and Kristin; Mary and Mike Lambert, Manitowoc, and their children, Stephanie, Jessica, Tomerot, and Chombi; Lori and Curt Kowaleski, Green Bay and their children, Cassie, Zachary, and Allyson. She is further survived by three brothers: Bernard (Carole) Kleiber; Benedict (Patti) Kleiber, and Jerome Kleiber, and by five sisters: Dolores (Donald) Holschbach; Dorothy Peterson: Rose Marie (Ted) Jarosh; Monica (Gene) Ahrens; Helen (Fred) Crocker; and by two sisters-in-law: Merle and Harriet Kleiber. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: John, Richard and Anthony, and by one sister: Rita, a brother-in-law: Pat Peterson and a sister-in-law: Gloria Kleiber. Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot. Ther will be a 6 p.m. parish wake service Sunday evening at the funeral home, led by Fr. Paul. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home, until leaving for the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church. The Holschbach family request that no cologne or perfume be used during the visitation and funeral, due to a family allergy. The Holschbach family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Dr. John Hanson, and his entire staff at St. Luke's Medical Center, and to the Aurora emergency room staff for their continued love and support over the years, and to Kathy and Naomi of the Manitowoc Community Hospice Program for all of their love, care, and support shown t o Marion and our family during Marion's illness.
