Rose Marie (Rosie) Jarosh

Neenah - Rose Marie Jarosh, who for over 90 years embraced life as a sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, was called home to the Lord surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Rosie was born November 29, 1930 to the late Anton and Mary (Zipperer) Kleiber. She was raised on the family farm in rural Manitowoc County with her 12 siblings and was a 1948 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. She continued her education by gaining a teaching certificate and served as a teacher at a rural school. Rosie would later become a beloved administrative assistant and teacher's aide for many years at Washington Elementary School in Neenah. However, her greatest and most treasured role in life was that of mother.

She married the love of her life, Theodore "Ted" Jarosh, on June 26, 1954, and they were blessed with seven children in their 66 years together. Their lives were filled with many happy adventures that included numerous road trips throughout the United States. They also enjoyed fishing in Canada, spending winters in Florida with friends, annual vacations with their family, and weekly card nights. Big family birthday and holiday celebrations filled with food and laughter were traditions Rosie treasured.

Faith and family were the key elements in Rosie's life, and she nurtured her children with those same core values. As a mother, Rosie put the needs of her family first and was always quick with a kind word or gentle hug. Her smile was contagious and could light up a room. The kindness, compassion, and gentle nature she had with family was shared as easily with everyone she met. Rosie had a tremendous passion for reading and instilled that love in her children as well by always tucking them into bed at night after sharing numerous stories together. Her love for learning enabled her to engage technology and she became a very tech savvy 90-year old with it. She enjoyed Facetime on her iPad with her children and grandkids and loved being able to "see" everyone this way during the pandemic. Everything she did in life was an inspiration and example to those who loved her, and she will be incredibly missed by family and friends.

Rose Marie is survived by her husband Ted Jarosh; children Jo Ann (Jerry) Allen; Lynn (Brian) Tungate; Daniel (Lori) Jarosh; Mary (Kim) Kovich; Anita (James) Stadtmueller; Jeanne (Christopher) Booher; and daughter-in-law Jean Jarosh; grandchildren Elizabeth (Matt) Masino; Robert (Katy) Allen; Michael (Emily) Allen; Evan Tungate; Martha (Tim) Rumlow; Ben Jarosh; Noah Jarosh; Aaron Jarosh; Jessica (Jason) Wander; Jeffrey (fiancé Rose Meagher) Reynolds; Emily (Scott) Sopata; Sara (Lyle) Krueger; Joseph (fiancé Alaena Wocking) Dachelet; Daniel Dachelet; Adam (Megan) Jarosh; Jacob Jarosh; great-grandchildren Miles and Jason Allen; Nora and Teigan Allen; Delilah, Wyatt and Harrison Wander; Rylee and Theo Sopata; Chase, Maddox, and Paxton Krueger; Penelope Jarosh; Rose's siblings, Helen Crocker, Monica (Gene) Ahrens, and Benjamin (Patti) Kleiber; sister-in-law Merle Kleiber; brother-in-law Andy Holschbach, sister-in-law Dorothe Jarosh; and the extended family of Chris Wydeven, Laurie Ahrens, and Kay Brunett, dear friends from Kay's Salon who styled and cared for Rosie since 1981, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, William "Bill" Jarosh, parents Anton and Mary Kleiber; and siblings Bernard (Carol) Kleiber; Richard (Gloria and Harriet) Kleiber; Anthony Kleiber; Johnny Kleiber; Jerome Kleiber; Rita Kleiber; Dorothy (Pat) Peterson; Marion Holschbach; Dolores (Donald) Holschbach; and Joe (Bette) Jarosh; Dan (Germaine) Jarosh; Bob (Bee) Jarosh; Janet (Carl) Rosinski; and Beverly (James) Wotruba.
