DOLORES K. BONFIGT

Dolores K. Bonfigt, age 91, of 3503 Joseph Road, Manitowoc, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County.

Dolores was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Raymond and Ann Flegle Hall. She attended schools in Two Rivers and graduated with the class of 1937 from Two Rivers High School. On July 19, 1938, Dolores married Benedict Bonfigt at St. Marks Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death Nov. 21, 1978. Dolores was
employed for 25 years at the Mirro Aluminum Co. until her retirement in 1982. Dolores was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, and a past member of the Two Rivers Lioness Club.

Survivors include five children: Alice Bonfigt, Manitowoc, Ray (Mary Jean) Bonfigt, Kimberly, Frank (Pat) Bonfigt, Two Rivers, Robert (Char) Bonfigt, Two Rivers, and Benedict (Norma) Bonfigt, Two Rivers; nine grandchildren: Mark (Shannon) Bonfigt, Fremont, Teresa Nabbefeld, Kimberly, Paul (Paula) Bonfigt, Kimberly, Marie (Damon) Voights, Combined Locks, Trisha (Daniel) Schumaker, Manitowoc, Tina (Earl) DeLong, Two Rivers, Becky (Keith) Challoner, Sun Prairie, Allen (Polly) Bonfigt, Manitowoc, and Lisa (Randy) Frey, Oak Creek; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; two sisters: Dorothy Baker, Manitowoc, and Eleanor Steven, Ludington, Mich.; special niece and nephew: Don and Jane Bonfigt, Two Rivers; many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Benedict; one daughter: Mary Bonfigt; two sisters: Matilda Gilbert, and Martha Fuersein; one brother: Joseph Hall; one daughter-in-law: Sharon Bonfigt; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law
also preceded Dolores in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at St. Francis of Assisi - Waldo Site. The Rev. Richard Klingeisen will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.

The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the Bonfigt family with funeral arrangements.

The family of Dolores K. Bonfigt would like to thank Dr. Gahl, his nurses, and the nurses and staff of Aurora Medical Center, and also the nurses of Visiting Nurse Association Hospice for the care and compassion given to our mother.
