William Doris Tucker was born on January 15, 1945 to William Washington Tucker and Ava Viola (Norris) Tucker on Rocky Creek in Winona, MO. He left this life on May 19, 2006, at the age of 61 years, at this home in Winona.
Doris was a graduate of Winona High School and lived most of his life in the Winona area.
Doris is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Annette; brothers, Walter Tucker, Ray Tucker, Vernon Tucker, Roy Tucker, and Tom Campbell; and sisters, Dorothy (Hoffman) Tucker, Katie (Tucker) Vermillion, and Annalee (Campbell) Weaver.
Doris leaves behind his three children, David, of Winona, Debbie Wright and husband, John, of Winona, and Bill of Melbourne, FL; five grandchildren, Melinda, Michelle, Jana, Aaron, and Lilly; brother, Wayne Tucker of Nixa, MO; five sisters, Erma (Tucker) Little of Arnold, MO, Lois (Campbell) Barkley, June (Tucker) Roberts, Sharon (Tucker) Davis, and Judy (Tucker) Walker, all of Winona. Doris also leaves numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Those who knew "Tuck", as he was affectionately called, will always remember his quick wit and humor. He had a great many family and friends, and he will be sadly missed.
