JOSEPH HANDL (d. 1965)
Joseph Handl, 70, of 924 Commercial St., Manitowoc, died there
Tuesday morning of coronary heart disease.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Claude LeClair will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Handl was born Oct. 12, 1894, at Manitowoc, son of the late
Andrew and Dora Sundt Handl. He never married. Before retiring he
had been employed as a tinsmith at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. A
veteran of World War I, he had been a private in the Ordnance Dept.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. John C. Schroeder, of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m.
