Ralph H. Klocke, 85 of Edina, died Friday, Mar. 2, 1984, at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
Funeral services were held Monday, Mar. 5, 1984, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina. Burial was in the Bee Ridge Cemetery, southeast of Edina.
The son of William and Henrietta Louise (Wohler) Klocke, he was born Mar. 29, 1898 in Knox County in the Bee Ridge community. On May 14, 1938 in Shelbyville, he married Nancy Ahern, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Marion T. Klocke of Moberly; one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Margaret) Delaney of Edina; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Edward, Franklin, Gideon, Henry and Karl Klocke; and two sisters, Mrs. Ben (Lizzie) Anderson and Mrs. John (Rose) Brown.
Mr. Klocke was a life-long resident of Knox County where he was engaged in farming. In 1948 he moved to Edina where he owned and operated Klocke Flowers until 1961.
Mr. Klocke was a member of the Bee Ridge United Methodist Church where he served on the church board and was Sunday school superintendent for a number of years.
