MRS. HENRIETTA KLOCKE DEAD
Death Came At Home Place On Bee Ridge Sunday Morning.

Mrs. Henrietta Klocke, 68 years old, died at 2:40 o'clock Sunday morning on the home place on Bee Ridge, where she was living with her youngest son, Ralph Klocke. She had had stomach trouble for many years and this led to her death after she had grown worse since last Thursday.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Bee Ridge Church by the Rev. Romaine D. Wood of Knox City. Burial was in the Bee Ridge cemetery.
Seven children survive: Lizzie, Mrs. B. T. Anderson of Blue Mound, Kan.; Henry E. Klocke of Green, Kan.; Gideon H. Klocke of Plevna; Frank W. Klocke of Hedge City; Edward F. Klocke, who lives near the home place; Ralph H. Klocke, with whom Mrs. Klocke lived, and Rose, Mrs. John H. Brown of south of the home neighborhood. Mrs. Klocke also leaves eighteen grandchildren.
As Henrietta Louise Woehler [sic], Mrs. Klocke was born in Northern Germany Nov. 2, 1857. When 9 years old she came with her parents to Riley County, Kansas, where she grew to womanhood.
She was married to William Klocke Dec. 23, 1875. They came to Missouri in 1895, and were the parents of seven sons and two daughters, those who were mentioned and Frederick, the eldest son, who died in infancy, and Karl B. Klocke, who died Feb. 28, 1919, at Camp Bowie, Tex. Mr. Klocke died Nov. 16, 1919.
Mrs. Klocke united with the Evangelical Church when 13 years old. After coming to Knox County she transferred her membership to the M. E. Church at Bee Ridge.
Henry Klocke came for the funeral, as did also Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and child, Mr. Anderson having come before his wife.
