Felix A. Witczak, 73, of 1232 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday, June 15, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Harold Berryman and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

Mr. Witczak was born Oct. 15, 1909, at Manitowoc, son of the late Andrew and Anna Strzyzewski Witczak. He married Lucille Klosinski, Oct. 21, 1905, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Witzak owned and operated the former Felix The Cat’s Bar in Manitowoc for over 20 years. He was then employed at Mirro Company retiring in April of 1975. Mr. Witczak was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Manitowoc, Two Rivers Old Timers Baseball Association and a Trustee and life member of Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 706 of Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife of Lucille; a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Jane Witczak of New London; two daughters and a son-in-law, Miss Lois Witczak of Fort Washington, Md., and Marilyn and Kenneth Walton of Fort Reily, Kansas; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Harry and Lorraine Witczak, Joseph and Ruth Witczak and Mrs. Mary Molitor of Manitowoc; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Emily and Harry Zinkel, Frances and Edwin Roberts and Mrs. Irene Burton of Manitowoc, Mrs. Gertrude Vondruska of Two Rivers, Al Birr of Two Rivers and Levy and Harriet Erickson of Milwaukee; four grandchildren, Eric, Wendy, Brian and Amy. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard and a sister Celia.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home , Manitowoc, 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock this Thursday afternoon. There will be an Eagles memorial service at 7 o’clock this Thursday evening followed by a prayer service at 7:30 o’clock by Knights of Columbus, relatives and friends.
