MALONE, N.Y. - Theresa Elda (Martin) Mallette, age 69, Route 122 in Malone, passed away on Thursday, November 18th 1999 at the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y., where she had been a patient since November 16th.
She was born on July 26th 1930 in Malone, N.Y., she was the daughter of Felix and Cordelia (Lamica) Martin.
She graduated from Franklin Academy in Malone, N.Y.
She married Mason Leon Mallette on November 23rd 1946 at the St. John Bosco Church in Malone, New York.
Mrs. Mallette worked for several years in the Housekeeping Department at the Alice Hyde Memorial Hospital, now Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y., retiring several years ago.
She enjoyed bingo, gardening and sewing.
Surviving besides her husband are five daughters and two sons-in-law, one brother, two sisters; Shirley (Martin) Johnston, and Bertha (Martin) Shova, two brothers-in-law; Nelson Shova and Gordon Johnston, seven half brothers; Francis Brooks, Adrian Brooks, Arthur Brooks, William Brooks, Norman Brooks, Raymond Brooks, and George Brooks, seven half sisters; Mrs. Allen (Evelyn) Lee, Dickinson, Beatrice Warner, Mrs. Thomas (Madeline) Perry and Mrs. Clyde (Susan) Donahue, Shirley Haywood, Rita Evans, and Mrs. Gordon (Linda) Rheault, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sons; Ronald Mallette and Robert Mallette, one daughter; Darlene, her parents; her father Felix Martin on November 9th 1937 and her mother Cordelia Martin in November of 1971, four sisters; Victoria Cordelia (Martin) Duemars on January 29th 1982, Dorothy Alice (Martin) Friend on July 15th 1996, Pauline (Martin) Savoir on November 18th 1984, and Geraldine "Jo"(Martin) Martin on November 14th 1992, one half sister; Ida Lambert, and three half brothers; Kenneth Brooks, Wilfred Brooks, and Donald Brooks.
Arrangements by the Bruso- Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, N.Y.
Burial will be at the Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone, N.Y.
