Mrs. Bertha Wallace, 73, of 1301 Enterprise St., a former employee of the Energy Bakery, died at 8:55 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Hospital.
A resident of Springfield since 1924, Mrs. Wallace was born at Caneyville, Ky.
Surviving are her husband, Shelby; three sons, James and Roland, both of Springfield and Delbert with the U.S. Navy; three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Merritt of Rochester, Mrs. Janie Wallace and Mrs. Marilyn Kraus, both of Springfield; one brother, Cletus Meredith of Lewisville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
