John Karbon Sr., 88, of Denmark, died Friday in a Green Bay nursing home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Melnik Presbyterian Church, Melnik. The Rev. Greg Meyer will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Karbon was born Dec. 15, 1890, in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Herdina Karbon. He married Rose Novy Dec. 28, 1911, in the Town of Kossuth.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, Harold of Two Rivers, Howard of Cooperstown and John Jr. of newton; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Thompson of Manitowoc, Mrs. Lester (Gladys) Mathis and Mrs. Claude (Berice) Christensen of Denmark and Mrs. Anton (Marcella) Balzan of Newton, 22 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. A son and two daughters preceded him in death.
