When Joyce Louise Harris White Sullivan Lewis was born on July 5, 1929, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, her father, John Robert Harris, was 33 and her mother, Rosella Willis Harris, was 33.

She had three sons and four daughters. She married George White about 1945 and to this union was one daughter: Ada Mae White Brown.

She later married Lynwood Roy Sullivan on September 19, 1949 and to this union was one daughter: Rossella Garline Sullivan.

Louise and Sterling Lewis united in 1948 and to this union were three children Wayne Lewis, Kathy Lewis Boyles and Tyrone Guy Lewis.

Also, Louise has two more children: Brenda Joyce Hicks and Lyndon Douglas "LBJ" Hicks Sr.

She shared her childhood memories with fourteen siblings.

Louise died on August 17, 2005, in Compton, California, at the age of 76, and was buried there.

Preceded Louise in death was her daughter Ada Mae White Brown; her parents, John Robert Harris and Rosella Willis Harris and siblings: Elenna Howard, James 'Jim' Harris, Mamie Motley, Robert Thomas 'Art' Harris Sr., Eddie Franklin Harris Sr., Evvie Edwawrds, Juanita Blakeney, Ramie Anderson and Johnnie Harris.

Left to cherish Louise memory are her children: Rossella Garline Sullivan, Wayne Lewis, Kathy Lewis Boyles, Tyrone Guy Lewis, Brenda Joyce Hicks and Lyndon Douglas "LBJ" Hicks Sr.; many grand and great grandchildren.

Surviving siblings are Roberta Coney, William Stanley 'Bill' Harris, Earl Harris, Almeda Johnson and Iva Lee Lofton. Along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
