Dollie Coughlin

Dollie O. Coughlin, 99, of 431 N. Van Buren died at 5:07 p.m. June 29, 1983, in Ottumwa Hospital.

She was born May 11, 1884 in Adair County, Mo., to Charles and Sarah Snyder Mabis. She was a member of First Christian Church and Rose Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She married Thomas P. Coughlin Nov. 1, 1902 [sic], at Ottumwa. He died in 1954 [sic].

Survivors: sons Virgil and Raymond of Ottumwa and James of Yakima, Wash.; a daughter, Margaret Bean of Lacon, Ill.; 26 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Millard Mabis of Leesburg, Fla.; and a sister, Mildred Stevens of Ottumwa.

Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, the Rev. Neil Guy officiating. Burial: Shaul Cemetery.

Pallbearers: grandsons.

The casket will remain at Johnson Funeral Chapel until 9:30 a.m. Saturday when it will be taken to the church and closed as the service begins. Visitation: after noon on Friday.

The family will be at the funeral chapel from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday.
